Animated Gems

The Animated Gems program series shines a spotlight on exceptional animated films! Our guest programmer, Riccardo Canciello, has curated a selection of some of the best animated films of the past year. Each feature will be preceded by a short from a local animator, plus a Q&A with its director.

Riccardo Canciello is a lecturer, film programmer, and animation producer based in Rotterdam. Although he loves everything related to cinema, animation holds a special place in his heart. Through his work, he aims to create more connections between makers and their audiences, especially at the local level.
